graceThis book is 2/3 existentialism and 1/3 psychedelic horror. I loved it. I was a bit worried at first as it seemed like maybe a classic exploration of m&m (Modernity and Mommy Issues) but AToJ really distinguished itself with the last third of the book. Mimicking L’Etranger in principle but with almost 90s-esque sci-fi horror twist, this book was intelligent, interesting, and memorable.
