Heather AyersJust finished this one. I had no idea what it was about prior to reading it. I too, was a victim of abuse. I did not find this book triggering, but rather a reminder that I survived. Like Lily, I left my husband not long after realizing what was happening. To all the Lily’s out there, I’m so proud of you. To all the future Lily’s, just remember, you are stronger than you think. I’m with you!
