Ian MorrisThis is an excellent autobiography, one that does not require any interest in tennis to appreciate. Agassi is clearly a tortured soul (or at least had been for most of his life) and he tells his story with a surprising amount of humility and vulnerability. Overall, an excellent read.
Ian MorrisI enjoyed this one a lot. It does require a bit of ongoing suspension of disbelief, but Jon Hamm is great as always as are Amanda Peet and Olivia Mann. It’s part mystery, part dark comedy, and just generally an engaging show that picks up momentum as it goes
Ian MorrisThis is a book written for baseball enthusiasts. If you are one of them then you should read or listen to it. If not, then this is going to be a bit much. The author walks through who he considers the 100 best players of all time and why. He enriches it with lots of stories and anecdotes so if you are really into baseball, you will likely love it. If not, then even though this is a very good book, it’s not where you will likely want to start your baseball journey.
Ian MorrisThis is an excellent book about some of the biggest challenges we face as a society, how they emerged and some of the ways we can address them. This is by no means a liberal manifesto. On the contrary, the authors make extra effort to call out the tactics used often by liberal politicians and citizens that helped create these crises and how different approaches are needed to get us back on track. A good and insightful read regardless of your political leanings.
