IrelandOfficially, I would rate this book 3.5/5⭐️. The author does a great job at writing moments of suspense to the point I could feel my palms sweat! Overall, I think there are really strong, good points and really low points of the book. One of my disappointments, is in regard to the main character’s arc throughout the book, which seemed lacking up to the final resolution. Ultimately, deserves a read if you’re interested in detective-like story in space, cultural-identity, and hope.
IrelandA cute, delectable read! Nothing too complicated, but a book that does not shy away from expressing strong themes about family, mother-daughter relationships, cultural identity, and love.
IrelandBetween the multiple POVs and time switches, it is a little tricky to tract BUT the author does a great job at weaving all the stories together. Ultimately, a great book!
IrelandThis book brings to light the tender relationships between mother and daughter, immigrant and first-generational child, and the know and unseen struggles of a person. Ultimately, a book I thoroughly enjoyed reading!
IrelandThe myth-tale in a modern setting. Great blend!
IrelandA short novel that deserves at least one read in a lifetime. Absolutely loved it!
