iuArtA strong 4.5 , I went to sleep at 4 am because of this book. I loove the enemies to lovers, the transition took the right amount of time. I like the darkness and violence of it all, feels weird to be on the head of a murderer made recall secret history and wonder morally should it end well for them, but at the same time I am rooting for their success so it feels iffy. Very darn academia. Can't wait for the second book, I couldn't put it down.

iuArtMy feelings about this book are conflicted. It was disgusting, in many ways, from beginning to end, but I couldn't stop reading. I am puzzled as to why it was so fascinating to be inside of the mind of a psychopath. It was interesting to see a personality so sure of herself, someone who didn't have all those little worries to stop her. This book, made me want to care a little less, and work a little more. I loved the letter at the end. For a story where we know the ending from the very beginning the plot twist was exciting.

iuArtIt has potential, the developpement was satisfying, the love story too. But the ending fell flat on me. In the stained hands scene, she also had stained hands... and nothing happened with that, also charlotte feels suspicious while she isn't... although I understand the culprit and the punishment, this feels like a glorification of assisted death,(angel of death type of killer) choosing one life instead of another is wrong...

iuArt3.5 because I am flabbergasted at the ending. This has a secret history kind of feel. I was sure Rachel would win so the second half of the book was difficult to finish. The main character went from likable to annoying. I don't understand why Leo wasn't more mad at her 🙄, this was betrayal.

iuArtThere couldn't have been a better ending! I went into this thinking it would be a cliché dark romance, I couldn't have been more wrong. So unpredictable, very well written characters. The psychology behind it all. Absolutely loved.

iuArtLoved it, hot, exciting, dark but respectful romance! I love how the plot aside from the romance is really good as well especially in the second book. The psychological dilemma of loving a killer. I love how she refuses to give up her values even for love.

iuArtI expected a more complicated mystery, the author has some stuff to learn from six Of Crows, however the relationships, the romance, the tea, the spice is what will make me wait impatiently for tome 2, and of course the cliffhanger 😭 was good, but I suspect the answer. Basically I want a mix of the sexual tention of this book and the smart planning of six Of Crows. I wanted more Sherlock Holmes kind of crazy planning.
