Jacquelyn DaviesI have loved every book I have read by Taylor Jenkins Reid and this one is no exception. Although I enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to anyone, I did find it slower than the other 2 books I’ve read by her. I didn’t find it to grab me in the same way nor did I feel the connection to the characters in the same way as I did in Daisy Jones and the six or Malibu rising.

Jacquelyn DaviesFabulous book! Taylor Jenkins Reid, once again, smashes it out of the park with this book. It is engaging, fast paced, empowering and I kept wishing for a highlighter to highlight quotes from it. Loved every minute of it and couldn’t put it down.

Jacquelyn DaviesTaylor Jenkins Reid is a phenomenal author. I have yet to read a book that I didn’t love by her. Malibu rising is a quick paced novel that keeps you interested and engaged all the way through. I could not put it down. It was captivating and one of the most enjoyable books I’ve read in a long time.

Jacquelyn DaviesIt’s hard for me to review this book without reviewing the series too. This initial book was fairly good, meant for a younger audience for sure but intriguing. Having said that by book 2 every chapter somebody is about to die and then they live, every animal is noble, there seems to be a delight in writing about violence and the repetitiveness of the words and plot drove me so insane that I had to quit. Don’t invest your time in this series. It is not worth it
