Jamie EasterI really enjoyed this book. The various characters and how each leaves you suspicious and guessing until the end. While I appreciate the perspective from each character, at times, I needed a moment to remind myself who each character was when the story would change perspectives.
Jamie EasterThe second half left more to be desired as far as the relationship between Emory and the man from the cabin. To be frank, the guy was a dick to her one too many times. The dialogue, between them was sometimes cheesy and even a little infuriating. Not my favourite of Brown's work, but still an entertaining read.
Jamie EasterI really enjoyed this book. The writing was beautifully descriptive and it was easy to get lost in the scenery, as well as the story.
Jamie EasterThis is the second book by Sandra Brown I've read and I really enjoy her writing style. This book has just the right amount of mystery, unexpected twists, and sexual tension. I found it difficult to put down. I would definitely recommend it and will be on the lookout for more titles by Sandra Brown.
Jamie EasterGood page turner; though, found the ending to be somewhat disappointing and not what I expected. Overall, it was a good read.
Jamie EasterI enjoyed both books; however, I could have done without the Ellen DeGeneres reference. Simple diary entries would've sufficed.
Jamie EasterI loved this book. The science, the dry humour, female empowerment, atheism and the failures of the Catholic church... It was right up my alley.
