John Jeffrey Lundell2013 movie with an all star cast about long dormant 70s era radicals living normal lives, but now their past comes back. A compelling story that resonates with those of us who remember those times first hand and for those just coming to learn about them. I was left with wanting more, another 20-30 minute...which is a good sign. A solid drama based on real characters and events.
John Jeffrey LundellWell I'd rate 4.5. Amy Adams was super. I enjoyed and appreciated her thoughts displayed to the audience. Scoot McNairy too, so low keyed. His character allowed for a full tilt Amy. Enjoyable and well done.
John Jeffrey LundellA 10 part mini-series on Netflix filmed in BC that accurately depicts the cycle(s) of domestic abuse and generational disfunction. A heavy subject but nicely done with superior acting and top notch production and filmography. Plus, real life mother daughter play the same. Wonderful to see. I recommend it for drama fans.
John Jeffrey LundellA great spy novel. I enjoy Cumming's style, focused on his protagonists. Intimate and personal.
John Jeffrey LundellEarly tech development (80s) in Texas. Fun to see it dramatized. Great series.
John Jeffrey LundellOne compelling series. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. Ellen Barkin...what a role, what a career. For those of you new to her (and presumably taken by her portrayal of Smurf) drop back in time to 1986 and the The Big Easy. She plays sultry, steamy, Anne Osborne. You'll see where her version of "Smurfness" originated.
