JoniI don't say this lightly but this podcast blew my mind and changed how I think of health and wellness culture. I have literally changed how I talk to my friends about my body and theirs and food. Thanks so much.
JoniThe beginning of the movie had me shaking but it kind of lost me after they got back in the car. The creature is very strange because it's humanlike enough to be a weirdo arts and crafts sadist but it's also like a big animal with instincts and kind of stupid? The contradiction may be the point but it doesn't make sense to me.
JoniWeirdly enough I enjoyed the setting of this film and set design the most, very unique to have the events happen in the middle of a city yet still manage to keep the characters trapped and feel in danger.
JoniAudio starts out a bit rough but if you can tough it out for like 40 episodes then it gets much better. I really enjoyed this podcast and am eager to see it return.
JoniThe pov of a nonhuman protagonist was very compelling and I was unable to put this book down until I finished it. Contains some very heavy themes so if you are not prepared for body horror, genocide, gendered issues of bodily autonomy, and the final wave of the apocalypse after humanity has already been brought to its knees then you might wanna steer clear.
