Larissa 🌼✨🌤Only a few episodes have aired so far but I’m confident that this will be a new favorite of the year. Originally planned as a spinoff to the Ray Donovan series, it was rewritten into this standalone. Tom Hardy is unnervingly calm, yet insanely intense as the fixer for the Harrigan crime family. (Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren) Directed by Guy Ritchie.

Larissa 🌼✨🌤This really grew on me. After not loving the original movie that this is based on, I was skeptical to watch it. I’m glad that I did. The whole cast had great chemistry, and their interactions felt genuine. Some moments had me laughing out loud, while others hit a little too close to home. It's refreshing to see a show tackle real relationships and friendships with all their complexities. Not every episode landed perfectly for me, but the good stuff outweighed the meh. It was a fun watch, and I'm curious to see where the next season goes. Especially after the last episode, how will it affect the group dynamic? 7.5/10

Larissa 🌼✨🌤This is a 2008 rom-com that leans into its own absurdity. Dane Cook's character is a total weirdo, getting paid to date women just to make them hate him so they'll go crawling back to their exes. But Kate Hudson shakes things up, and their scenes together are actually pretty great. The movie's not trying to be deep or meaningful. It’s just a fun, dirty romp, and that's what makes it work. The humor's also ridiculously raunchy, with jokes that are more likely to make you cringe than laugh, but in a good way. It's like the movie knows it's being outrageous and just goes for it. Plus, Cook's comedic timing is on point, and Hudson's charm adds a nice layer to the story. It's not perfect, but it's a solid watch if you're in the mood for something lighthearted and ridiculous. 8/10

Larissa 🌼✨🌤This is about a woman who's being surveilled and coerced into targeting a specific person, played by Brandon Sklenar. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that there's more to the situation than meets the eye, but the execution didn't quite live up to the premise for me. The whole surveillance theme is really interesting, and Meghann Fahy does a great job of conveying the tension and fear. You really feel for her character & the desperation she's in. But the pacing was just all over the place. Some scenes were super intense, others felt like they dragged on forever. And I couldn't help but feel that Brandon Sklenar's character was just kind of... there. Like, what's his deal? Why is this happening? It felt like they didn't really develop him at all, which made it hard to get invested in the plot. The coercion aspect was also kind of glossed over. I didn't really get why she was being forced to do what she was doing, or what the ultimate goal was. The plot holes were everywhere, and it was hard to keep track of what was going on. It felt like they didn't really think through the logic of the story, and it showed. And the ending was just awful. It felt like they tried to cram in a bunch of plot twists without really tying everything up in a satisfying way. I was left with more questions than answers, and some of the reveals felt pretty convenient. Maybe just needed a bit more attention to detail? 6/10

Larissa 🌼✨🌤This limited series tells the wild true story of Elizabeth Holmes and her doomed healthcare startup, Theranos. Amanda Seyfried's performance as Holmes is fantastic. She perfectly captures the complexity and oddlike charisma that made Holmes so convincing to investors. How she was able to obtain millions of dollars to invest in a product that ultimately never really worked is both fascinating and perplexing. The series does a great job of exploring the darker side of Silicon Valley's startup culture and the dangers of unchecked ambition. The supporting cast is also fantastic, particularly Naveen Andrews as Sunny Balwani, Holmes' business partner and secret boyfriend. You can't help but be drawn in by her story, even as you're appalled by the consequences of her decisions. The pacing is well-balanced, with each episode building on the last to create a sense of tension and anxiety. My only criticism is that the series sometimes struggles to find a consistent tone. At times, it feels like it's apologizing for Holmes' behavior, while at others it's clear that the writers are critiquing her actions. But regardless, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent series. If you're interested in true stories, tech, business, or just great storytelling, this is definitely worth checking out. 9/10

Larissa 🌼✨🌤(2025) Robert Pattinson stars as Mickey, a clone on a frozen planet in a hilariously unsettling adventure. The dark humor and eerie visuals perfectly capture the absurdity of the situation. It makes me think about identity, humanity, what it means to be alive and what the consequences would be when creating and disposing of clones…if technology like that ever existed. 8/10

Larissa 🌼✨🌤(2024) This film is like stepping into a gilded cage… it looks beautiful, but when the doors slam shut behind you, you're trapped. (Naomi Ackle) Frida and her friend are invited to a luxurious island getaway by the enigmatic tech billionaire Slater King. As they immerse themselves in the island's opulence, they begin to realize that something isn't quite right. There's something about Channing Tatum's Slater that's both intriguing and unnerving. He's got this effortless charm that's like honey laced with poison…you know he’s trouble, but you can't stay away. The way he interacts with Frida is both fascinating and unsettling. The island setting is straight out of a luxury brochure, but it's also claustrophobic and menacing. Kravitz's direction expertly ratchets up the tension, making me feel like I'm right there with Frida, trying to piece together what's happening. It slowly builds unease, making you question everything… the characters, their motivations, even your own reactions. Naomi Ackie is phenomenal as Frida, bringing a perfect blend of vulnerability and determination to the role. If you're in the mood for a psychological thriller that'll keep you on the edge of your seat…this is it.

Larissa 🌼✨🌤This is a movie that shines a light on the darker side of the internet. Madeline Brewer gives a great performance as Alice, a camgirl struggling to maintain her online persona while dealing with real life issues. It's easy to get sucked into her world and feel for her as she navigates the complexities of online identity and exploitation. The pacing can be a bit slow, and some plot points feel a bit convenient, but Brewer's performance makes it worth watching. 6/10.

Larissa 🌼✨🌤(2023) The Super Mario Bros. movie is a technicolor dream come true! It's a vibrant, action-packed adventure that blasts off from the Mushroom Kingdom like a Warp Pipe on steroids. Chris Pratt's Mario is lovably goofy, while Jack Black's Bowser is hilariously over-the-top. The film's a nostalgic love letter to the games, with enough humor and heart to delight both old fans and new. 8/10

Larissa 🌼✨🌤Yellowstone is one of my favorite shows! It's a modern day western series that follows the Dutton family as they fight to protect their Montana ranch from land developers, politicians, and the Broken Rock Indian Reservation. John Dutton is the rock of this family, his wisdom and leadership keep them grounded. He's a fierce protector who'll stop at nothing to keep them safe and defend the land that’s been theirs for generations. Beth's a total force of nature… her sass is everything, and she's a complete badass who isn't afraid to speak her mind. Rip’s loyalty is unwavering… his love for Beth is intense, and the way he’d go to great lengths for the Duttons and Beth makes you root for him no matter what! Kayce's commitment to his family is unshakeable, he'd sacrifice everything to shield them. Jamie's a complex mess… the family outcast who often leaves you feeling frustrated, yet somehow, you can't help but feel a little sympathy for him. The show's cinematography is stunning, capturing the breathtaking beauty of Montana's landscapes. The storytelling is top notch, with well developed characters and engaging plotlines. I'm excited to see what's next for the Dutton universe. Taylor Sheridan's got a knack for crafting compelling stories and complex characters. With new additions on the horizon, I'm eager to dive back into the world of Yellowstone and its spin-offs. I wasn't into westerns until Yellowstone, but now I'm loving the Dutton world. 1883 is my favorite, followed by Yellowstone, and then 1923. 10/10!
