Kate DoubleLike all of Jeff Zentner’s books, this is a heartbreaking story. Themes of religion, trauma, loss, grief, domestic violence, child abuse, and bullying are balanced out only by hope, love, friendship, and healing.
Kate DoubleColorful, engaging, and fascinating history of the Seven Sisters historically women’s colleges. The many stages that these colleges have gone through is striking — especially as they continue to innovate and provide a high level of education and proud alumni based.
Kate DoubleI loved the Women’s Room and, having read it first, it was a tough act to follow. Love Children was a good story but didn’t have the powerful presence of The Women’s Room.
Kate DoubleA book about family, mental health, belonging and loss. The characters were relatable in their imperfections - and the book allowed for both rupture and repair in the familial relationships. It also addressed how the younger generation experienced losses that they didn’t have the opportunity to fully understand until they started to heal.
Harper BrownOooo this looks like a good book. Thanks for the rec!
