Kelly McConeThis was one of the best reads I’ve had in a LONG time. Great narration and character exploration. My only hang up is that there’s zero closure for Nina, one of the main characters- she loses it ALL. The rest of the story- awesome.
Kelly McConeIf you are looking to find an author you can stick with- you found him. I think this was his best so far- haunting of hills house meets poltergeist meets something unique. Loved it. You won’t want it to end.
Kelly McConeThis author is just on point. I am stuck on this great writing. This is a must read! I am on my 3rd Riley Sager psych thriller- what a great writer who creates meaningful, “round,” tricky characters that you can’t help but love and have to see through to the end!
Kelly McConeThis book is such a win. What a perfect read for mental health awareness month. The characters are so relatable and the story realistic. It definitely speaks the truth about the different and unique ways our beautiful brains work 💓
Kelly McConeGreat read. The setting is so unique and so is the plot line for me! Really grabs you and keeps you reading.
Kelly McConeThis was so good. It’s been a long time since I liked a book this much. Not the most “unpredictable” book, but that’s what makes it so endearing. You get characters real feelings. A breath of fresh air after reading a bunch of psych thrillers with unreliable narrators/characters. This author’s writing is on point also…like Gillian Flynn type writing= quality. Highly recommend.
Kelly McConeThis is the first book I actually read of Flynn’s. What a way to start! It is dark and tragic and everything in between. The characters are so damaged, but makes for a great plot/character study. I might say this is her most disturbing one of all of them! Really worth the read.
