If you want a book that just takes you to a small town where a peculiar new business is being set up, this book is for you. No heavy action*, just kinda those Diner Dash type games in book form. And I was pleasantly surprised by the romance! 3.5/5…bumped it up because it was too cute for me not to ☕️⚔️<br/><br/>*I will say I do see all the other reviews’ criticism and I get it. This might not be the book for some, since it is kind of slow paced.<br/>

Kelly SarnaI don't know if it's because I went in with EXTREMELY low expectations because of all the negative reviews/ratings I heard for this, but I actually really liked this book? It was cute and fluffy and honestly just what I was expecting?<br/>Were some of the characters different then Simon vs.? Absolutely (looking at you Nick!). But I don't know, I found far more good things to say about this book then bad. <br/>But maybe i'm biased because I'm a sucker for the Simonverse.

Kelly SarnaThis book definitely made me think about everyone’s past as a whole, especially women’s. And how sometimes history repeats itself. <br/>I felt so much for the family members and for the lot of them, I just wanted to give them a big hug. Will absolutely be thinking about this book for years to come.
