LisaSweet

A cute, low angst romance between Clover and Marshall. Both try to protect their hearts from falling for the other and possibly getting trampled however their attraction towards each other proves too strong for their stubbornness. A sweet fairly uncomplicated romance. My only issues was finding Clover slightly annoying and rude at times.
LisaA good read possible spoilers 3.5/5

Bully romance, corruption, strong willed female character, three alpha a holes and mysteries looking to be unravelled. It’s a good read but not the best in this genre, there is a lot of redundancy in the middle of the story and the back and forth between Avalon and Dean becomes boring at times when their interactions should be more scintillating, they’re quite frankly annoying. Very reminiscent of Boys of Brayshaw but sadly not as solid of a read. The ending does pick up and it is enough to entice me to read the subsequent books. The descriptive nature of the writing saves this book for me.
Trigger warning: multiple scenes of attempted rape.
LisaBeyond the first few chapters this really wasn’t very dark of a story. Yes there are a few relatively gruesome scenes but not explicitly detailed. Please read the full and lengthy TW if you’re concerned. I felt there was a connection right away between them and loved that we didn’t have a typical damsel in distress type heroine. Would def recommend.
LisaDrama drama drama

As always Amo Jones brings the drama and otherworldly/dystopian to this book. If you’ve read Elite Kings it’s very similar in its dramatic and story telling elements. Although I found this story alittle rushed I still very much enjoyed Dove and Kingston . It’s a straightforward Amo Jones read. I would recommend.
Lisaslow burn

A book about second chances at life and love. Callie is slowly coming to the realization her husband is no longer the person she met, causing her to rethink her whole life. Can her marriage be saved or does she need to rethink her future? Cole just wants to wallow in misery and lie with the ghosts that haunt him. Will Cole ever be free of the haunting images of loss? I loved that it was a slow burn and the couple were cognizant they needed time. It was a good read but there are several triggers to be aware of.
LisaAge gap romance that is anything but instalove

A refreshing take on the age gap romance trope. This isn’t your insta love that borders on pedo, their love is a slow burn which grows naturally from a stranger helping a teen girl get out of a bad spot to friendship and eventually love. There are many obstacles for Skylar and Jude innate as well as outside interferences. There were a few loose ends that I was disappointed didn’t get wrapped up but overall a great read.
