Melanie FrankThis book is "labeled" Christian but I didn't think it was overly religious (I mean that as a compliment). It stands out as one of the top 25-30 books I've ever read and I'm an atheist. The characters are very devout but I always interpreted their religiosity to be descriptive and a product of the Era in which the books take place. The book is never preachy or prosaic.
