Michaela HillI have read this book multiple times throughout the years and wanted to revisit it. Especially since I have started watching the show. I love this book! I have enjoyed it every time I have read it and have loved the whole series. I am excited to reread the next and see if I still love it as much as I remember.
Michaela HillThe Kiss Curse by Erin Sterling is an absolute riot of a read! I’m pretty sure I looked like a complete weirdo listening to this audiobook, laughing out loud and talking to the characters like they could hear me (which, let’s be real, I wanted them to). This book has everything you could want: magical mishaps, sizzling chemistry, quirky witches, and a lot of hilarious moments that will have you grinning like a fool. The dynamic between the main characters is so deliciously antagonistic at first, I was practically chomping at the bit to see how they'd go from "I hate you" to "I want to kiss you" (spoiler: they do). If you're looking for a rom-com with just the right amount of magic, heart, and witchy mischief, this is the book for you. And if you enjoyed The Ex Hex, you’ll want to cozy up with this one immediately—it's the perfect mix of sweet and spicy with a good dose of witchy humor.

***************SPOILERS BELOW***************

Alright, let’s talk about the spicy stuff! First, the simmering hate-to-love tension between Gwen and Wells? Yes, please. The moment they lock eyes and start bickering, I was 100% on Gwen's side, ready to throw a bucket of glitter at Wells. The banter between these two is pure gold. I'm not ashamed to admit I literally yelled “JUST KISS ALREADY” at my speakers (yes, I talk to my audiobooks, don’t judge me). But seriously, Gwen’s realization that she wants him, and not just because of the “curse?” YES.

The witchy magic? Hilarious. Gwen’s abilities are to die for. She doesn’t take herself too seriously which can lead to some magical mishaps. I couldn’t stop laughing. Also, can we talk about Gwen’s powers finally clicking and how they mirror her journey of self-acceptance? Loved that arc. But the best part is Gwen’s relationship with her witchy family. Oh, and let’s not forget the baby witches!

And Wells…just, wow. He’s brooding, a little mysterious, and has way too much swagger for someone who’s clearly just as emotionally unavailable as Gwen. But the way he softens around her, especially after realizing that maybe, just maybe, he’s not quite as “put together” as he thinks, had me swooning. Sigh. I could literally feel their electricity through the speakers. The chemistry between them was a perfect storm of sarcasm, tension, and magic. I’ll be over here, anxiously awaiting the next book in this series. Go grab this one, trust me, you’ll be talking to the characters like they’re real too. You’re welcome!
