Nicky EwersEmily Henry just doesn’t miss and I feel like she keeps getting better and better. For instance, the banter! Amazingly hilarious and kind of unparalleled, honestly. I love Daphne and Miles so much as well as all the other characters as well as Waning Bay. Also, the way that the epilogue allows the story to come full circle is one of the best things ever. I would recommend not only this book but also Emily Henry to just about anyone.

Nicky EwersPerfection. Literal perfection. Just when I think I couldn’t love this series any more, I do. Kai and Miller are amazing but then you also have the adorable and amazing Max and Monty and Isaiah and the cameos from previous books. It does not get better than this. There is just so much pure emotion and realness. I cried and laughed and just felt my heart being so invested in Kai and Miller. They have to be one of my favorite couples/families that I have ever read.

BooksTessa Bailey

Nicky EwersFor starters, I always love a Tessa Bailey book. She is an auto-buy for me. So with this book, it is no different and especially since it is part of the Big Shot Series. But, with that being said, this story was probably not my favorite of the Big Shot Series. I definitely enjoyed the swooning, yearning, the care, and the love the main characters had for each other and I always love a signature pet, but they were just not my favorite couple. But, I really did enjoy reading this story as I always love a hockey romance and found a harp playing female main character to be so interesting. Also, a forbidden lovers trope usually proves intriguing especially when the men typically fall first and very hard aka Sig (he basically couldn’t functionally and fully live without Chloe). Overall, this story was fun and spicy and even kind of dramatic with the family lore. Also, given that it’s Tessa Bailey’s writing, it has to be at least 4 stars, so although it didn’t get 5 and I may not reread its epilogue as much as the others, I still loved it and would recommend it to romance readers.

Nicky EwersI love Sarah Adams’ books as they are all so cute, relatable, funny, and wholesome. This story is no different as Nora and Derek are adorable and their journey together as well as their individual journeys are incredibly inspiring. However, I just felt that Derek and Nora were slightly immature for about the first half of the book. I had a little bit of a harder time connecting to and loving them, but as time went on, I definitely started to love them more as they learned to have fun, compete, and love each other with less of the silly games, behaviors, and language that permeated the first half. Ultimately, I loved the story and I still plan on buying any and all books from Sarah Adams.

Nicky EwersThis book is so incredibly good. Isaiah and Kennedy are just amazing. They made for such a unique love story but also such a beautiful one. Their growth together but also on their own was so inspiring to read. I laughed, swooned, teared up, and cheered for and with these characters so much. Also, a shoutout to Reese and the pure girl power that was exemplified in this story as I loved every moment of it. Also, the cameos with all the other characters, especially the adorable Max, were so amazing. All in all, I absolutely loved this book, and I would recommend it to everyone and as much as I am excited for the next book in the series, I am so sad to see it end. But, I just know that Rio will be so amazing just like all the other male characters in this wonderful series.

Nicky EwersAnother reason to love Tessa Bailey. This story is truly amazing and rather complex but handled so beautifully. Josephine and Wells just seem to fit together so well with so many swoony moments but also heartfelt, hard ones. I love a sports romance but this book was so much more than that. It’s terrific and while reading it, I constantly caught myself smiling or saying something along the lines of “you go, girl” or “yesss, Wells”. I mean these two would do anything for each other and it’s amazing. The banter, chemistry, spiciness, humor, and everything else are truly top notch. I reread the epilogue at least 3 times (it’s perfect). I can’t wait to read about Tallulah and Burgess!

BooksBeth O'Leary

Nicky EwersI have been well and truly Eileened and I am so happy about it. This intertwined story of two Eileens is wholesome, funny, hopeful, a little spicy, and so charming. It was so lovely especially with the idea of the countryside as well as London and the power of a close knit village and even closer knit friends. I would recommend this book to anyone as well as any other Beth O’Leary book. Simply put, they are amazing.

Nicky EwersAmazing. So swoon worthy, funny, spicy, smart, and enjoyable. I really connected with Elsie as a people pleaser trying to find her true self and I also really admired her smartness and strength. Speaking of smartness and strength, there is Jack and he is just amazing (especially with his great wardrobe of Henleys). I love how their relationship blossomed and the prioritization of honesty. Honestly, I think blonde haired male main characters are on the rise; I am starting to get a soft spot for them. Also, the Adam and Olive cameo was literally perfect as they are perfect and I wish I could hug them. Also, I noticed that there was a mention of Bee and I think WhatWouldMarieCurieDo as well and that made my heart warm. I know pretty much nothing about academia or higher level science but I always feel a little bit smarter after these books. Ali Hazelwood, you are amazing.
