Nuttmeg2002I’m on the edge between 2 and a 3 star rating. This was a book for my book club, and I think the first part of the book was enjoyable. It was funny and cute but definitely not something I normally read. There were a lot of funny parts and I liked the MMC. Here’s the problem. The FMC character made no sense, if she’s a workaholic and never goes out, she wouldn’t be this out going. She should have been more introverted for the story to make any sense. And after you FINALLY got to spice, it was lacking and just not enjoyable to read. While it could be called tension through the first part of the book, it wasn’t so it didn’t feel like build up. However me and my book club made lots of candy cane jokes. I think this is an OKAY read, I did enjoy parts but others I definitely didn’t. If you’re into hallmark movies this might be perfect for you.
Nuttmeg2002Riveting, hunger, intense, and long tension. This book had me on the edge of my seat with all emotions twirled into it. Bridget’s character was the perfect mix of sass and witty that made everything more desirable. One thing Ana Huang does right is tension building. I loved the couple and the story. Can’t have **** with out a good story. 5/5 ⭐️
Nuttmeg2002Alex and Ava completely stole my heart and one of Ana Huang’s best books I’ve read. Steam tension that always makes everything better, definitely enemies to lovers feel and the brothers best friend was 10/10. Hit exactly what I was in the mode for. 5/5 ⭐️
Nuttmeg2002I very much enjoyed this book and couldn’t stop reading it until I had finished it. Heart warming and a must read, seeing Sloane, a character in all the books before I loved, it was so nice to see her happy and well loved by play boy Xavier. 4/5 ⭐️
Nuttmeg2002An easy few hour read. Finished it within 3 hours, and itched the craving for a hot, desirable, mysterious man. The story was told well and got the basic concept across fairly well. Hot and steam parts were 🌶️🌶️🌶️ spicy to say the least, but leaves much to be desired but aren’t like most books where it’s short and not detailed.
Nuttmeg2002My favorite so far and for good reason. I always loved the female being the wild card and the guy being straight laced. Isabella was a good character and very relatable out of all the books. And Kia is a great example of straight lace by the book. Enjoyed seeing them off the rails and not following the rules and so captivated that he couldn’t stay away. 5/5 ⭐️
