Sniper 🖤I'm more of a metalcore person rather than black/symphonic metal, but this was a movie that I still enjoyed nonetheless. It's rare to see content that is centered around metalheads and alternative people that's not horror-related. Bonus points for the wholesome and sweet romance 💗

Sniper 🖤Angel Dust and Husk carried the show. The fourth episode had me crying like it did with a lot of people. Other than that, this show gives off major queer theatre kid vibes. It also has a lot of religious commentary but from a satirical standpoint. I got bored about three episodes in, but I had to force myself to finish it because I wanted to see what the hype was about on alt tiktok. The plot was not enough to keep me hooked, which was a major letdown. They also sang and swore too much for my liking. If I had an option, I would not rewatch this show unless my friends encouraged me to. The Amazing Digital Circus is hands down much better, with less swearing and a more family-friendly plot.

Sniper 🖤I will start off this review by acknowledging that this author is very controversial, and I am aware of the Colleen Hoover hate that is prevalent in the book community. I do not condone her controversial or immoral behavior or actions, and for clarification, this book was checked out through the public library, not purchased. With that being said, this was a book that I expected to cringe at, and I did, in the first few chapters. However, this was a book that surprisingly hooked my attention, and I was able to finish this book in a week, which shocks me since I usually don't read romance books. The portrayal of abuse in this book was cliche but had slightly realistic aspects to it, as if you know that Ryle is toxic, abusive, and manipulative. Overall, I enjoyed this read more than I initially expected to. However, I do not plan on reading the second book, It Starts With Us, nor do I plan on reading her other works, such as Verity.
