Scotty HurstI love everything Henry writes, but this one may be my favorite. It creates this spooky, foggy atmosphere, while providing a whole new "sleepy hollow" narrative. A very good one. It's got self discovery while still being a "horror" story. Splendid read, by an amazing author.
Scotty HurstSimply put, this is one of my all time favorite books. It captures my emotions, it captures the beauty of people, and it captured my heart. I loved it so much. A tale of discovering yourself, while helping others do the same. The best "anti Christ" ever depicted.
Scotty HurstWant a quick read? Want it to be full of violence and ghosts? Here you go. It's a beautiful little story about some friends staying in a house. I don't think the houses inhabitants like the idea.
Scotty HurstIt took me 80 hours to listen to the audiobook. I had to replay a lot of things multiple times. It's a great story with phenomenal character description. I just wished I would have read it, instead of listened to it. This story is written so well that you find yourself believing in these magicians, that they actually existed. It's a fantastic story of obsession, and how many things take a back seat to it. It's a tough read, but worth it. "I'd like you to remember me, with my nose in a book"
Scotty HurstI got this book because of the cover. Boy, was I not disappointed. It's like they took the Miss Peregrine books, and gave them steroids. The characters are very well defined, the story is almost original and it kept me on my toes and excited the whole time.
