Kristin Hannah is a beautifulllll writer and reading this book you can tell she took the time to research and truly care about sharing historical relevance of Vietnam and the Nixon era in America. Truly heartbreaking read that somehow feels so close to home even though I was raised in the 00s. A story that captures the good, bad and the ugly of American society. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

This book didn’t have crazy twist and turns, yet somehow I could not stop reading it. Finished it in one sitting. First Sally Rooney book I have read, and very excited to read her others. Didn’t give it a 5⭐️ due to the ending rlly ******* me off (more of a me problem im sure lol).
