Sara SoDeezyI didn’t really know what to expect when I started reading this book, but honestly this was such a heartwarming read. If you want something character-driven, I’d definitely recommend this. You develop an attachment to the characters as the story continues, as each character’s story takes such different turns. Overall, a great read.

Sara SoDeezyLoved this book. So sweet and had a brilliant message outside of the romance aspect of things. Highly recommend for someone looking for a self-love type of book.

Sara SoDeezyCouldn’t put it down! A unique plot that starts right away and keeps you invested. Not to mention a variety of Indigenous characters that don’t fit into a trope/stereotype. Loved it!!!

Sara SoDeezyFunny, sweet, and a very easy read! I’m excited to read the rest of the series. I’d also be interested in seeing a movie adaptation of this. I feel like it’d be very entertaining if done right!

Sara SoDeezySuzanne Collins does it again! Haymitch has been my favourite character in this series since the original books came out, so I was so excited to see how his story had unfolded prior to Katniss’. I felt all the emotion in this and developed a whole new love for Haymitch while reading. Incredible story and world-building. Ahhhh I love this series so much!

Sara SoDeezyUnique plot with lovable characters. Interestingly enough, I actually like that there wasn’t too much “mystery” elements to it even though that’s what it was originally marketed as. I think the core message behind this novel definitely speaks to the title of the book, where often domestic workers aren’t really acknowledged by their employers or society as a whole. Overall, a great + heartwarming read.
