Suzanne FeinspanThis is the best of the Lucky River Ranch series so far. They all have some delicious steaminess, sweet moments, depth of characters, and high quality storytelling. This one really dove in deep, in a way the first two didn't do quite to the same extent, around the strengths of character and the wounds that Sawyer and Ava brought into their relationship - and how being with each other helped the better understand those hurts, what it would take to heal them, and to begin on that path of healing. Though Sawyer and Ava's relationship began in a purely physical way, not knowing each other's last names or thinking they'd see each other again, the extent of each of their growth individually and the depth and strength of their connection ended up stronger than either of the first two couples. They had friendship and they had chemistry, but for the two of them, the shared challenges and joys of parenting, the lessons they brought from past relationships, and both of their orientations around caring for their people, led to a love story deeper and sweeter than the first two (which, for the record, were also great!)
