Tamara CarmanThis review may be changed. I am only beginning episode 3. I feel the writers could@have done a better job in telling the story. If I hadn’t seen the Korean version, it might have taken me a minute to realize that the FL was at a reunion. There are several other things that the Korean writers did much better in, but I am enjoying the show. I like the FL so much that I may look up other shows she is in. I’m usually not a fan of JDrama as much as I am KDrama and CDrama. I’m not sure why.
Tamara CarmanI wrote the rant below and decided I should put the actual review at the beginning. 😂 This is a sweet story. ***** SPOILER**** I didn’t like that the FL didn’t ween to be hurting at all when they broke up because they were supposed to be so in love. I felt like there should at least be some scenes when she was alone showing she was in pain. ****RANT***** I couldn’t decide between 3 and 4 stars. I think it deserves more than 3 stars. Just a couple of things that got in my nerves. Something that bothers me in a lot of Kdramas along with the stagnant kisses, excruciatingly slow motion before a kiss, and the fall into the arms and stare forever. I have learned to just ignore those because I love KDramas. The other thing that bothers me is when one person says I love you or I missed you and the other person just stares at them and doesn’t say anything in return. Maybe it’s a cultural thing.
Tamara CarmanOne of the best K-Dramas I have seen. not sure why I slept in this one when it first came out.
Tamara CarmanI wouldn’t waste my money on this documentary. There are many MUCH BETTER documentaries made by fans on YT. Taylor Mari’s ”Guide to the Bangtan 7” xCeleste’s “BTS Hardships” and “The Rise of Bangtan” by YT channel of the same name are so much better than this. I don’t understand what the criteria for picking the photos was. Sometimes I think it was to find weird pics and much of the documentary had a narrator talking but rather than showing photos of BTS dancing, or even stills of BTS or the members they showed streets, buildings and people that had nothing to do with BTS dancing. Out of all the videos they could have chosen for DNA, they chose one where Jung Kook was injured and couldn’t dance so he was sitting in a chair. Of course, I love BTS so I enjoyed it just for that reason, but why pay to watch something that you can get the same info by watch free stuff that is much better. I swear Documentary companies need to hire ARMY who love BTS for these.
Tamara CarmanWhy did I resist watching this for so long. I’m on episode 10 and I LOVE this show!
