Tyson WinderMost of this series was brilliant until Wind and Truth. This was my least favorite out of all of Brandon's books. There were many parts I enjoyed, but those were mostly scenes, not overarching plots. There were many new character arcs, plot points, and even some new characters that should have been eluded to or introduced in his previous books. Some new ideas he introduced seemed to have developed more quickly than I believe they would have in this war-torn society he had established. The lack of natural progression left me feeling like Brandon was pushing different agendas. I go into Brandon's books with high expectations and trust, which may be why I was disappointed. Overall, it was slightly above average but failed to reach excellence.
