It was great to see Rutina Wesley, formerly of True Blood, again. Anyway, great start. I'm looking forward to season 2, whenever that may be. "

"Truly an incredible TV series adaptation. The criticism around the actress pick for Ellie's character is completely unwarranted and simply stemming from the video game loyalists; similar to the Halo series but for different reasons. I felt this story emotionally, and honestly a few scenes got me in the feels. I think this deserves an Emmy."

"Update: watched the 3 episodes of the second season and was already sad they decided to take away Joel’s character even though that’s what happens in the actual game. Because then I think what’s the point of the rest of it unless we see Ellie actually change things with her immunity to the fungus virus. I haven’t played the game so I am not in the loop and I have to wait to watch the rest of it when I have access to somebody’s HBO Max."

"The premise is terrifying and I liked the new take on zombies. I thought it was good but not amazing (based on what I was hearing when it first came out). All the actors acted their butts off tho. And like only one Black person survived which is meh. "
