Secret Invasion

"I tried. Three episodes in and I've already checked out. Not enough meat on the bone for my appetite. I expected more from Marvel, this is just a regular, run of the mill spy/espionage show and that's not enough for me. 4/10"

"Never reading any comics, I always wonder if all the MCU plots are taken from a comic book and if so, how faithfully? Also, I think this whole franchise made enough money that if they’re going to do these spinoffs then give them the budget that holds up to the standard you set. As for the show, I wasn’t feeling it until the last two episodes, of this six episode season, and those were really good. Emilia Clarke goes back to her roots playing a bad a@@ and Kingsley Ben-Adir will be winning Oscars one day. "

"I'm on episode 3 and am giving this show 5 stars so far based on the acting, dialog, and look of the show. It's well written and entertaining. The scene in the empty restaurant hit home and Mr. Jackson and Mr. Cheadle reminded me again just why they are powerhouse actors. The dialog hit home and was everything!"

"Secret Invasion is my least favorite MCU show so far. It was good seeing some of the returning characters though even if things didn't go quite the way I wanted. As for new characters, Olivia Colman's Sonya Falsworth is fantastic. She's easily the best part of the series."
