Tim McGraw & Faith Hill were terrific, as, of course, was veteran actor Sam Elliot — and I loved this sad & brutal story of “Elsa Dutton” played by actress Isabel May. "I binge watched this Yellowstone prequel in just a few days, and it did not disappoint. The portrayal of the harsh conditions during 1883 along the Oregon trail is heartbreaking and brutal, as we witness the Dutton family traverse the desolate landscape of the West in search of a better life and a place to call home. Taylor Sheridan is a complete genius. I'm amazed at how he can make so many hit shows out of so many different topics and genres. Now I can't wait to watch 1923. 10/10"

"This IS the most realistic "Oregon Trail" story ever on the silver screen. Every tiny bad decision made can get you killed in this incredibly hostile wild West. This show is so sad and yet I love how much heart and quality was put into telling this story. Let me put it this way: there is mpre death in this show than life and by the end several of my favorite characters were gone."
