"I really enjoyed watching this mini series that was based on a true story, about a convicted drug dealer who is enlisted to befriend a suspected serial killer during incarceration to gain information on where the bodies of his victims are buried. I'm not familiar with Paul Walter Hauser, but his portrayal of Larry Hall is so bone chillingly creepy that it may illicit nightmares. Very well done. Taron Egerton, Greg Kinnear, and Ray Liotta all do great work in their respective roles as well. Impressive series overall and an easy binge watch. 9/10"

"Watched this straight thru with my 18 year old SVU loving daughter. Lehane is one of my favorite writers but since he doesn’t put out books anymore his tv/movie stuff is always must watch. Just great all around. "

"This show seems pretty good and off to a great start with these first two episodes. Can’t wait to see how this story plays out. Given the fact it was adapted from a Dennis Dehane non-fiction book. I can see this turning into a great factionalized true crime series. He wrote Shutter Island and Mystic River and I’ve watched both those adaptations more times than I can’t possibly remember. It’s only 6 episodes so you won’t have to spend too much time with it. There doing a weekly release with the last four."

"Disturbing and intriguing and this show should win all the awards. Crazy that this is based on a true story…major props to the guy who went into a max security prison to illicit a confession out of the killer. Only six episodes but they pack a punch."
