"I’m utterly obsessed with this show and utterly devastated that it was cancelled. It had everything! An intriguing alternate history plot, a compelling female lead, genuinely hilarious dialogue, tension filled romantic subplots, fantasy, political intrigue, action… it was perfect! It poked fun at historical dramas just the right amount to be refreshing and was straight up FUN! The tension between Guildford and Jane had me in a chokehold from start to finish. Mary was undeniably unhinged and disturbing, making her the perfect villain to root against. I genuinely enjoyed all of the characters and plot lines, which usually NEVER happens. Everything had a purpose. Everyone had a shining moment. Even dopey Stan Dudley became a favorite of mine with the line “Dudleys never say die.” This show was original. It was creative. It’s a shame and tragedy that this was all we got of it. "

"The Prime Video tv adaptation of My Lady Jane was so much fun and a pleasant surprise. Like historical fantasy romance, The Princess Bride, & Enola Holmes, and even A Knight's Tale, you'll have to try it. I hope it will be renewed for a second season! One of my favorite parts are the family dynamics between the Grey sisters, & Guildford, Stan, and Lord Dudley. I was really surprised by how much I ended up liking Stan by the end from where he starts off. I would love to see My Plain Jane, My Calamity Jane, My Contrary Mary, & My Imaginary Mary adapted in the future too. "

"I can't give this a high enough rating. I'm literally obsessed with this show. The banter, the acting the screenplay and the chemistry were all fantastic. The director and showrunner absolutely nailed it. Oh and I can't forget about the music supervisor because the music fit every scene perfectly and the songs were really good. I have no complains about the pacing and I was just enjoying every minute of it. Felt kind of like if Reign and The Great had a succesful baby that was phenomenal. Like if youre looking for historical accuracy, walk away. It's very obviously supposed to be based on history and not history itself and I have no complains about that. If I could give this a 12/10 I would. New favorite show. Just waiting for season 2."
