"🎬 JERRY SPRINGER: FIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION dives into the chaos, culture, and controversy of TV’s ultimate pariah. A fascinating yet troubling exploration of flying chairs, outrageous moments, and the ratings juggernaut that made Springer a legend of #ShockTV.
◾️The Jerry Springer Show ran for 27 years, from 1991 to 2018, making an indelible mark on TV history. #RIP

"This is a quick watch with just two episodes in this limited series. The first episode basically celebrates the early years and how the outrageous format of The Jerry Springer Show developed, highlighting some of the more memorable episodes. Then things turn a bit darker in the second episode, showing how a love triangle of guests has a tragic end when a woman is murdered in real life. Also, allegations that conflicts on the show were fake and rehearsed, and a behind the scenes look at the heavy toll that segment producers endured dealing with the seedy topics and the rigorous schedule of the show. All in all, an interesting watch. 7.5/10"

"Interesting doc!! I used to watch his show and think nothing of it at the time, took it in stride, like it was normal almost. NOW it appears as though it was quite something. I questioned at the time whether the fights were real. I was hoping this might also cover a bit on one of Jerry's other shows that I liked called, "Baggage," but I recall no mention of it in this doc. I still watch "Baggage" reruns, so entertaining!!"
"Fascinating documentary!
I remember watching the show in shock when I first came to US.
Very interesting to see behind the scenes of the show creation and phenomenal increase in popularity.
Such a shame that well educated and intelligent man choose to be part of promoting and normalizing stupidity and violence in US society . Quite illuminating watch for me.

"*The Jerry Springer Show* was the epitome of '90s trash TV. Known for sensationalized drama and physical confrontations, often involving women, it turned vulnerable people with personal conflicts into entertainment. The show exploited guests, disregarding their dignity for shock value and high ratings. Many of the guests, often from poor or rural backgrounds, were lured in with paid airfare and limo rides, only to be paraded on stage for the audience’s entertainment. This documentary depicts Springer as a nice guy just trying to make a buck (he died with a 50 million fortune) that unwittingly fueled the “fight culture” of today. "
