"I just finished this on April 09, 2024. It is brilliant! Kind of like Castle and Psych; a cop show but with friendship, family ties and comedy as well as a dash of drama! It made me laugh and cry as it is relatable. The friendship between isles and Rizzoli is the best but also between Rizzoli and Korsak. I wish Maura hit it off with Kent but it's a good alternative ending nonetheless. Overall I recommend. So good #series #copshow #mystery #thriller #rizzoliandisles #drama #murdermysteries "

"I didn’t expect to like this show, thinking it was going to be cheesy lighter fare. I didn’t make the connection that the characters are from the series of books from Tess Gerritsen about Det Jane Rizzoli and Medical Examiner Maura Isles (I’d read 1.) The books are gritty thrillers and the show is a mix of that plus lots of comic relief, great character development, friendship and family, serious crime solving and lots of Jane’s mom meddling in her life! Binging helps with story arcs. "
