"This has been on my radar for years but finally settled down to watch it since I’m moving to Texas next month and I felt like I needed some Texas themed shows. The first episode pulls you in and doesn’t let go! Seasons 1-2 were knocks outs and I couldn’t stop watching. So much heart. I was so surprised to see a young Michael B. Jordan and Jurnee Smollett in Seasons 4-5. Excellent series finale as well. I shed quite a few tears over the last few weeks watching this. Highly recommend and I know I will go back and watch it a again at some point."

"This series is nothing like the book or movie, they focus on football. While S1 did cover the championship, S2 is a rom-drama that includes football players but ignores the sport altogether. I will update as I watch more seasons. S1 -8.8 out of 10. S2 -5.0 out of 10."
