"One of the most wonderful adult animation works I’ve ever seen. It initially felt like a thought-provoking visual podcast with lots of stunning art, then I found out it’s based on a podcast by Duncan Trussell. In each episode the main character, Clancy, gets to choose his identity and what universe he’d like to be transported to through his simulation machine. He then explores some philosophical questions about existence, consciousness, enlightenment and death. The last episode was particularly moving. Will yet need to find something to watch that’s as deep and meaningful as this."
