"Went into this really excited. But, the characters are shallow and the whole thing could've been resolved with a simple conversation. What kind of friends can't talk about simple stuff let alone complicated things? Plus, itt was super cringey most of the way. You know what's going to happen and are just waiting for it to hit. Last thing, the ending was super abrupt! I actually searched to see if there was a second book (there is not) since it ended with so many things unresolved. Weird. Not the best introduction to a new author"
