I thought the writing style was lovely but the story relied heavily on cliches making it feel more like a long fairy tale and less like a novel. I also LOVED the frequent use of Arabic words throughout. This book was captivating and the character development with Nasir was amazing. There is soo much room for imagination while reading this, so much magic 😍. the author has a BEAUTIFUL way of writing. Altair was so refreshing and I loved everything about Zafira . Read this book. I am so ready to read the next one :) "
