"A masterpiece in every way, from the editing to the dialouge. The characters are well written and the story as well as the performances are extremely compelling. The soundtrack is good and the cinematography is incredible."

"The definition of epic. Russell Crowe is a force in this film and Joaquin Phoenix is the creepiest easiest-to-hate villain. The entire movie is just a joy to watch, a cinematic marvel. It’s entertaining. It’s action-packed. It’s intriguing. It’s inspiring. I knew I would love it, but I didn’t think it would be this much. I really found myself in tears by the end of it, screaming, “ALL MY BOY MAXIMUS WANTED WAS TO GO HOME!!! LET HIM GO HOME!” "
"This is a good movie"

"I did enjoy it very well. The tension was there and I was like "that's my man" all the time. Maybe if all the happenings were historically accurate I would love it much more and it would help me with my studies. But fiction is also good. In the end I really expected that his army, the legion to come but it didn't happen. Sometimes things doesn't go as we want, it is okay, anyways. Other than these two things it was good"
