"Breaking Dawn P2 is the only movie I can think of that has its cake, and eats it too. Not only do we get the stupid fun action scenes, but the moderately intelligent realistic ending as well. The CGI for the baby looks gross, but they tried. The Jacob imprinting thing is gross, felt like an afterthought. As a whole though, this was a damn good ending for a movie series I believe is super overhated. "

"I watched the entire series just to see this ending. Specifically, that battle sequence. When the original trailer came out I saw that battle & wanted to watch it. I debated watching the series then, but could not do it. I literally tried watching Twilight online & couldn't get past a minute. Eventually I watched it, clearly. Then I made it to this. This is by far the best of the entire series. Let's start with visuals. They are so good, & express so much in just a few shots. I'm impressed. (Excluding CGI faces) Now for the new characters. Unlike in the past movies where I only care about moments with the Volturi this one actually makes me watch the whole movie. Most of that is due to the fact that every new character is so much fun to watch & learn about. I love it. Surprisingly, I wanted more. Now it's not perfect. There's that whole imprinting on a baby thing. But truly you have a 109 year old dating a 17 year old and the baby freaks you out for a 16 year difference? Yall realize the age difference in the first one right? Don't get me wrong, it is creepy to look at. But they aren't doing anything like the other 2. Then there's CGI baby face. I get wanting to make her look the same throughout, but you could've just searched for lookalikes. Nobody cares about a baby looking different from a child, you can't tell half the time anyways. At least get similar bone structures to make it less jarring for other kids. Let's move on. The battle sequence, the entire reason I watched this series. It didnt disappoint. I loved the attention to detail and the way they completed certain characters & storylines. I know everyone hates how its a vision & not real, but I think it added depth to the moment. Not as much emotion as a real battle would've been, but at least we still got to see the battle. Mostly if I watch this movie now, I just watch that ending. Because despite everything, it's a good happy ending. It's all wrapped up in a nice bow. Anticlimactic yes, yet still nice."
