"There was just too much going on in this book. I like John Puller. I like his relationship with his dad. I'm sure some towns have more crime than others but Paradise takes the cake. A sleezy lawyer stealing from clients, more busted up motel rooms than Vegas, bodies along the shore, that's just the minor crimes. It doesn't make me want to vacation in Florida. I love to suspend reality as much as the next guy but this was a little much."
