"The plot was super good, and everything was laid out very well. I think it just took me a while to get into the book. I got a little bored at some parts and wasn’t really into the book. At the end. I did read it for class, and I think that’s what more likely pushed me to finish the book. I really like it a lot and I did like having a discussion group to talk about about the book to really get other peoples opinions about what they were thinking, and really understand the book on other peoples levels. I liked the book some parts but it did take me a little bit to understand it really think about what’s going on. I personally would give this book to someone who is a bit older not an eighth grade class. I did understand and I did get into it because Patrick Henry is what I was talking about in my social studies class at the time which made me get into the book a little bit more because I do like Patrick Henry as a person and I wanted to think what was going on in his life or behind the scenes so I think that’s what pushed me as well to finish the book. On my own I probably would not have picked this book up o by myself, or even attempted to read the back or recover to cover."
