Please Look After Mom - Likewise Book Reviews
"When 69 year old So-nyo is separated from her husband in the Seoul subway station, she vanishes. Their children are consumed with loud recriminations and sorrow and guilt. As they argue over the missing flyers, they realize that none of them have a recent photograph of Mom. Soon a larger question emerges: do they really know the woman they called Mom?

This story is told from alternating characters to showcase the life of Mom and what she went through. It shows what mothers give up and endure in order for their children to live long, healthy, and happy lives. This book was to fall into and it made me want to know more about Mom and where she was. The book had a realistic feeling to it, and it showed how other cultures (Korea) live their lives.

I rate this 2.5"
