"For the first time in awhile, I reeeeeelly wanted to stay up all night reading! I read the first of Guild Codex series a few years back and this companion series does not disappoint! Loads of action and sass and banter, three of my favorite things when starting any new literary adventure! Docked a half star because Robin made some very poor decisions that had very serious consequences, and Zylas is a liiiiittle too... something. Too good to be true maybe? Especially since he's a demon and - culturally - they are usually the opposite of "good". If a Mary Sue could be kinda evil and extremely terrifying, that would be a sort of kind of comparison for him i guess."

"Is amazingly easy to read and has well-written characters. Especially Zylas!!! "This book contains just about every trope I love about demons. It's super indulgent if you like bad bargains, inhumans experiencing the modern world, and if-you-touch-her-ill-kill-you romance. I loved it."
