"This book is a beast. The first part of it I was just crying and grieving along with the characters. I definitely experienced more laughs and several eye rolls. I got some questions answered and more questions that need to be answered. Witnessed beautiful undying love and an obnoxious lack of communication. There’s some excellent spice and we’re left with another cliffhanger ending. This felt long and I need a break."

"The ending of this novel sent me into a reading frenzy to find out what was going to happen! I couldn’t put it down. I’m glad I decided to continue with the series after being absolutely gutted by the last book. I’ve seen some reviews that complain about the numerous POVs, but personally I enjoy them. I love having copious amounts of information about the world and characters in it. However, I do also understand how it might detract from the main storyline and characters for many."

"Holy **** this series is dragging. I’m still going to read the last book (totally skipping 8.5) because this series is still like crack. Do I recommend this series? Do I think this series is “good”? No. Am I obsessed and can’t stop reading? **** yes. But for the love of god there is so much ******** writing. No one give af about Milton or Mildred’s POV. We’re on BOOK EIGHT Caroline and Susan! Get to the ******* point! By the stars.."

"At least these books stay on brand, they win some and they lose 10x more. Also, the random POV’s of characters I barely remember had me rolling my eyes. Half the time I forgot what characters were doing. Seth and Caleb’s POVs were pointless. And now, they kept the promise but they have to deal with a Deathstar! LOL. Took me FOREVER to finish this book because of all the above! WTF??"

"Even though I got this far I am TIRED. I love the plot of this story, but I swear these books are way too long for the amount that actually happens in each book. There is a ton of filler it feels like, and each book is a practice of patience. I most likely am ending it here for the series. "
