"The Good Luck Charm was mediocre at best. I think the characters who were in their late twenties acted like ***** teenagers for most of the book and Lilah (one of the mcs) was super annoying at times. She would complain about not doing well in school and then actively push off her assignments until the last minute. Then when she did poorly, she got mad at herself yet never did anything to fix the situation. I also didn’t like that the twist toward the end. I thought it was cliche and it didn’t have the impact I think the author wanted it too."

"It’s hockey season! Aka the time of year that I lose my husband completely to his obsession with his favorite sport. But I’m trying to get into it, hence why I picked up this book. It was cute...it wasn’t, like, revolutionary or anything but it was fun and sexy and all the things romance novels are supposed to be. Will I read more from this author? Probably not, since I can’t get over the fact her other series is literally named “Pucked.” But it was definitely entertaining and a perfect read for seeing our first NHL game of the season this past weekend!"
