"This was a fascinating look at the artist that created the Sistine frescoes. The book places Michaelangelo in the context of his times both politically and spiritually. I would recommend carrying a larger book containing close-up phontos of the cleaned ceiling. The photos in the book are a bit small and it's sometimes difficult to see the "hidden" parts of the works. I was interested to learn the origin of the word "Vatican.""
