"3.5⭐

The Better Liar is a solid suspense debut from Tanen Jones. If you're interested in stories with secrets, money, and lies, you have to pick this one up.

I didn't guess all the reveals, but I guessed a lot of things. There was one thing that really gave something away, and I kind of wish it wouldn't have been in the book so there would have been more of a surprise.

Overall, though, I had no clue what was going to happen in this book, and I enjoyed the mysteries. It ended up being too over-the-top in the end, but this was such an entertaining read."

"It's so hard to say without spoiling it! It was such a good book. I'd say my favorite part is how quickly you can grow to like her characters and attach yourself to them as if you knew them in real life. This author is incredibly gifted as a writer and I think this book has went too unnoticed."

"This book was good. Written well, good plot twist with lots of layers. The end is quite the trip. I think the reason I didn’t love this book was because it was a bit heavier and darker story than I usually prefer to read, which is my own fault. If that is your preference, you’ll love it. "
