"Another re-read. I did forget a few critical points to this story—dark gray on my darkness scale—book two starts where book one ended. Then fast forwards two months later. <br/><br/><br/><br/> As we know, Madi and Tatum take off in book one. In book two, they are both in New Zealand; Madi is broken and having a hard time moving forward without Bishop. They think they are safe from the Kings until an unexpected phone call. <br/><br/><br/> In Broken puppet, we learn more about the book. There are new characters to add, The lost Boys, one of them being Dameon, who is very much connected to Madi. Plus a few others. Darkness and Shadows surround him. Tillie is still missing. <br/><br/><br/> The puzzle pieces are slowly starting to fit. But still not complete. Can I just add how much I love Nate, yes he is a man *****, but he is funny and wears his heart On his sleeve for his stepsister and those he loves. The banter between Madi and Bishop is the best around. They are made for each other. The ending will shock you, buckle up, and pay close attention. It’s wild. Amo Jones does a phenomenal job by keeping our attention and being on edge; now off to see what happens next."
