Is anyone else watching I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out On Time? I like it because it's a fantasy anime with a silly premise that isn't an isekai and isn't built on video game logic. It's also had some touching moments, and the characters are fun.

Just finished watching the first episode of this absolute banger! I can already tell you I'm hooked! If you have seen it, I would love to discuss and see other people's takes on the first episode.

The trailer of the Twisted-Wonderland anime has me wondering if the Kingdom Hearts video game franchise could work as an anime. What do you think?

All You Need is Kill, known best in the US as the inspiration for the Tom Cruise/Emily Blunt film Edge of Tomorrow, is receiving its own anime feature film adaptation. It looks like it will have a very colorful, trippy, mind-bending design style. https://youtu.be/HDkb6E7Fn2g?si=DWxZNpS08nXeivXk

This anime is very different from its light novel's story and that's a good thing!!! As the light novel progressed its tone became darker and bleaker to the point where I eventually decided I wasn't going to continue down that rabbit hole to see where it ended. I know people are almost always critical of anime changing the story from their source material so I'm impressed the creators of this anime were willing to risk that criticism and alter it to the degree they did. Huge improvement IMO.

It's been 3 years, but One-Punch Man is returning for Season 3! Season 2 left a lot up in the air. I don't know about you, but I'm excited!

Vampire Hunter D will be in some theaters for its 40th anniversary in April!!

As you may already know, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's next arc following the Hashira Training Arc, The Infinity Castle Arc, is not receiving a television treatment. It is instead being adapted into a trilogy of movies. Other notable anime, like Haikyuu!!, Konosuba, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Sailor Moon: Crystal, have taken this same approach of adapting canon content into exclusively theatrical releases. How do you feel about this practice? What are the pros and cons?

Why is this show so good? Currently on episode 4,(waiting for dub) and I have to say the music choices and the animation is spectacular! The way the sky and city lights are depicted at night completely blew me away. If you haven't started this, go check it out!

Yo, I'm about to drop something that's definitely an unpopular opinion around here: I don't actually like Cowboy Bebop all that much. I'm not saying it's a bad show or it's overrated, it's a great show and I can understand why it's a classic anime still beloved to this very day. However, upon watching it a couple months ago, I just wasn't feeling it like everyone else does. The Colors Within, from Naoko Yamaha, the director of A Silent Voice, releases to North American theaters January 24th!

This show has been one of the biggest surprises for me in a long time. Amazing animation, well developed story, interesting world building, and likable characters. I didn’t hear many people talking about this before it started airing either. Highly recommend people watch this one. 25 episodes and still going.
