As you may already know, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's next arc following the Hashira Training Arc, The Infinity Castle Arc, is not receiving a television treatment. It is instead being adapted into a trilogy of movies. Other notable anime, like Haikyuu!!, Konosuba, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Sailor Moon: Crystal, have taken this same approach of adapting canon content into exclusively theatrical releases. How do you feel about this practice? What are the pros and cons?

Has anyone who was planning to watch Angel Beats! for our #otakuclub live discussion NOT had a chance to finish it?

I just spotted this at the store. It sounds really interesting. Has anybody seen it? Thoughts?

Why is this show so good? Currently on episode 4,(waiting for dub) and I have to say the music choices and the animation is spectacular! The way the sky and city lights are depicted at night completely blew me away. If you haven't started this, go check it out!

Yo, I'm about to drop something that's definitely an unpopular opinion around here: I don't actually like Cowboy Bebop all that much. I'm not saying it's a bad show or it's overrated, it's a great show and I can understand why it's a classic anime still beloved to this very day. However, upon watching it a couple months ago, I just wasn't feeling it like everyone else does. It's been 3 years, but One-Punch Man is returning for Season 3! Season 2 left a lot up in the air. I don't know about you, but I'm excited!

This show has been one of the biggest surprises for me in a long time. Amazing animation, well developed story, interesting world building, and likable characters. I didn’t hear many people talking about this before it started airing either. Highly recommend people watch this one. 25 episodes and still going.

I've been putting off watching the Digimon Adventure reboot because I read some very unfavorable reviews. If you've watched it, what did you think of it?

I just realized yesterday (despite knowing all the relevant word roots) that the title Neon Genesis Evangelion literally means "New Beginning Gospel." What are some anime titles whose significance took YOU a hot minute to understand?

What classic novel do you think would make a great anime, either movie or show? Personally, I think “The Outsiders” would work well; there’s already stuff like Windbreaker and Tokyo Revengers that focus on young gangs, so think it would translate well to anime.

Beloved tearjerker A Silent Voice: The Movie returns to theaters in the USA December 15th and 16th! Dubbed and subtitled showings will both be available.

Does anyone know why the first three seasons of the original Tenchi Muyo series (AKA Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki) are so hard to find? A single season seems to be 60 dollars used online, and no one's streaming them through subscription or purchase. In my experience, that usually occurs when rights are shared among parties who can't or won't collaborate, but I can't find anything about that.
