Alli D Yo when did the covers update - the one here is gorgeous - about the story tho, I tried reading it but couldn’t get into it - it felt very young adult not NA or adult - definitely written for teenagers - heard good things tho but it’s a bit cliché from the parts that I read

Gaby Palomo I’ve only read the first one and to be completely honest, idk if I’ll finish the series. Not because it was bad; I’ve just started so many that getting to finish this one seems like a drag. It’s a good book and it’s really interesting, I sense a lot of development and the main character does learn a lot more about herself

Leah I thought it was good but don't go into it expecting an epic fantasy, it is mainly a romance that just happens to involve fantastical creatures and magic. I liked it though and would say it's still worth reading!

Caitlin Dooley I really enjoyed the first book! I haven't read the rest because, when I first read it, there was no second book and then was only just recently reminded of the series. I hope to read them soon!

Jamie Mayfield I picked it up because everyone said it wasn't like other YA novels and I wanted that cover. It was exactly like other YA novels with all the classic YA plot devices. Instant love, a girl who is not like other girls, a bad boy who hates everyone except for the special girl. I really dislike YA but if YA is your jam, this one seems well written. I also don't do romance so this book was doomed from page 1 for me. But if you love either YA or romance then I think you would enjoy this.

Rachel I love this book! The writing is beautiful and the twist at the end is totally worth the read and a play on the typical forbidden romance. As the series goes on, the world building gets better and better, and I still think about it even though I finished all the books
