Kitten I love that I can transport myself to other worlds and imagine myself kind of as the main character. Almost like I’m playing a video game in third person in a way😅?? Kinda hard to explain. I try to imagine how the character is feeling or what experiences or sensations they might be having. On a beach for example. The feel of the sand, the warmth on your skin, the sound of the waves. Of course that only happens when I’m reading a really really good book 😆. Otherwise it’s just kinda “meh”.

Molly Herring Honestly I get to be in someone’s life full of magic and codes riddles and weapons but really it takes away my stress in this world....does that make sense? One thing I do while reading is make faces A LOT lol!

Viktoria Venclovas I love how when I finish a good series with an amazing world in it that I almost feel homesick. There’s this nostalgia I feel when I think back to the book, even if I read it only a week ago. I love how it makes me want to read it again and almost relive that life :)

Lexi I love that you can escape reality and go to another world. I prefer to read at my house by myself because I always react out loud and I pretend that I'm a character in the book.

Dani Calcagno I love when I’m reading how i tune out the world around me while i escape and feel as though i am living another life through the characters. Like once i have read a book a little piece of my soul stays and lives there. I also love when I’m reading that i maybe staring at words on a page, but i can see everything with my imagination 🤩

Jax I love reading because I can imagine what’s happening! If I don’t like how the author described a character e.g. not liking that they have blonde hair I can change that in my mind. It gives more freedom for imagination because it tv shows everything is given to you.

Makeda Davies I literally made a rule where the day I finish a book, I cannot begin another until 12 am/pm to give myself time to process and think over the book. And feel everything in its entirety because I most Def will begin another immediately 😂😂

Luciana Parker hahahha that’s a great rule. i should start doing something like that🤔

Jacq1234 There are so many bad things going on in the world that really get me down, so I read because I can escape this word and live in a better one, at least for a little while, where good usually wins and everything ends up okay. Also, I’ll often read the same page 5 times so that I can imagine it in my head and get it just right before moving on to the next page 🤪

Jessica Hartley Reading is an escape from reality. I'm a mom of 2, so I have a monotonous life and I'm an introvert that doesn't like crowds. And while I love my family and my life, I need reading to escape into those unknown worlds where anything can happen. I also read fast and am always between 3 or 4 books at a time.
